Well, yesterday I added the B612 fonts to HaikuDepot. These are designed for use in Airbus airplanes cockpit displays, to be very easy to read for the pilots. As a result they may also make good GUI fonts for other uses as well.

Mostly been doing some library updates (and related packages in the case of tiff4), but coming up when buildmasters are done, update on Gerbera (that has been a while!)

I’m happy to announce a new version of Kottan, my viewer/editor for flattened BMessages (often used by Haiku apps to store settings etc.) that is available via HaikuDepot/pkgman as of now.
Version 0.14.4 is mainly a bugfix release, most prominently fixing a data corruption bug (discovered by @humdinger) when saving an edited BMessage to file. Other notable changes are the addition of an application icon (created by @zumi) and a few small fixes that hopefully improve the usability a bit.

The full release notes can be viewed here: Release Bugfix release with a few enhancements · andimachovec/Kottan · GitHub

A big thank you goes out to @humdinger for reporting bugs and many suggestions for usability improvements, to @zumi for the icon, and to all language translators (can’t believe into how many language my app has already been translated)

@3dEyes is looking into that, I guess there is more work to it related to the MediaKit?

i am sad right now :frowning: . Well i think i can wait. But i don’t know if i were are able to run Nero Linux 4 which i had running onto my manjaro system on one computer.

KDE news feed reader Alligator 24.12.2 added to the depot, this one doesn’t use QtWebengine so could be ported/build for KF6.

A huge thanks to @mmu_man for bringing us fastfetch, with the help of upstream maintainer Carter-Li a lot has been added since, this morning 2.37.0 was released.

Adding to that, the KDE KF6 frameworks have been updated to 6.11.0 today, one is failing atm due to a broken php package on 32bit, previous version is still available though. Fixed.

MariaDB 11.7 is now available on HaikuDepot !

Direct download : https://depot.haiku-os.org/#!/pkg/mariadb/haikuports/haikuports_x86_64/11/7/2/-/1/x86_64?bcguid=bc219-HVLI

I will write an article soon on Haiku Insider on how to proceed with the installation

The databases are reachable via the official SQL client (mariadb) or any other SQL clients (like SquirrelSQL)

Glad I could help you out! You did make it work, that’s what is really important :1st_place_medal:
Now I still need to figure out how to connect to it, so looking forward on the tutorial.

Qalculate updated to 5.5.1, switched to Qt6 also. Enjoy!

Amarok 3.2.2 released, after spending quite some time on it and with some help from upstream maintainer, it’s finally done and released, this is the last version to be build with Qt5, for Qt6 I’m still running into crashes so it’s not time for that one (yet).

Some flaws remain, when the wiki is open in there, Amarok doesn’t shut down cleanly and one has to kill it over ProcessControler, other then that it works pretty fine on my checks.
