It’s when one of the files was deleted (or moved to another partition). You can then either diff two new files, or ignore and keep looking at the old diff where one file is missing now. Beats having a blank white window.

Again, I have an update to PonpokoDiff that adds/changes a few strings. If anyone wants to help finish add translations…
Maybe I should’ve waited with the previous release, but how should I’ve known that I had some more fun adding more usability stuff to the app?

Another tiny tool in need for translations: KeyCursor is an input_server addon to control the mouse pointer with the keyboard. Version v1.1 is already available in HaikuDepot, though without localization and some more goodies that’ll come with the next release.

I just found out that I forgot to permit PonpokoDiff to load XML files…
I’ll publish a quick point release to fix this. If anyone wants to finish/add a translation, it could be included, if you’ve finished in 24 hours.

Nope, still at 100%. No strings were added/changed.
It’s just that Japanese is at 69% and Sardinian even at 95% and I wanted to announce the bugfix release and the opportunity to finish those translations.

I would be happy to help with the Japanese translation, but when I login to Polyglot, I get a “You don’t have permissions to translate anything” message. My name on Polyglot is “Il Felice”.

Just a very quick one: PonpokoDiff now inserts the string “(identical)” between the two compared filenames in the window title, if they are identical.
We need translations for just that one word for these languages:
