This weekend in Berlin PulkoMandy and I attended an Coding sprint in Berlin to work on Renga, the xmpp client for Haiku.

Nice report, progress in coding and brainstorming, perfect match! Will keep a close eye on the progress for Renga +1

Great, thanks for the report. I’ll definitely give Renga a try, even though I mostly use IRC in the terminal with weechat, which I have running on my linux server constantly, to capture the logs.

Nice to see so much progress on Renga :+1:
Maybe some remember me endorsing Matrix in the past,but I have lost my hope that it will ever have a well-performing server software.
Synapse devs promised improvements so often and never really delivered.
I’m now back to using good old XMPP more.
Currently I have it only on the phone,but why not try using Renga on the computer more?
I’ll absolutely keep an eye on it and wish you good luck with the project.
