I want once again recommend paid email providers. It is available for 3 Euros per month for example. I even saw an offer for 1 Euro per month.

Yes,I had a look at https://posteo.org and https://mailbox.org ,both seem to support IMAP and SMTP and start at 1 Euro per month at the smallest plan.
But even if you don’t want to pay,there are a lot better alternatives than Google.

I registered on disroot.org on last tuesday…more than 96 hours since…even today I tried with my given name, password on disroot…says username/password wrong…no confirmation email till now

IMAP working now…messages being downloaded…god knows what was the issue even after entering app password

Thanks to all those who replied to my queries, suggested me some idea’s

The same here, though i can’t login to the web interface, i don’t know why maybe it’s just under powered or something?, i do have another provider namely “zohomail” but the web interface is quite slow (JS crap).

update: it was just my connection acting up.

I am unable to connect via IMAP / Mail to disroot.org…Are you able to use IMAP with disroot?

Yes it’s working for me, just double check the settings may be you just made a typo or something? :slightly_smiling_face:

Do we have to do some settings for enabling IMAP on disroot.org? I looked every where but could not find any settings on disroot website
I have made settings correctly on Mail application
When I ask it to.check Email, nothing happens…does not say password wrong or any thing…simply sits quiet

TBH, i did not try with the built in email app, i use claws-mail and i used these settings from their website, if you don’t like claws-mail you could use MailNews from the repo.
