Looks ready to print for me.
We are at 158 preorders so far:
- 60 replies to forum poll
- 10 for Nipos
- 10 for Nephele
- 10 for ilfelice
- 5 for Begasus
- 63 in Mastodon poll
This is good news, it means I can probably increase the order a bit. Duplicaprint pricing seems a bit weird, ordering 400 to 450 DVDs costs 2.63 per unit, but ordering 500 it jumps to 4.32 per unit. And then it gets lower again when you order 1000. I guess they aren’t interested in the range 500 to 1000, too much manual work and the setup cost are not worth it?
Of course the price gets even lower for higher volumes, but as I wrote earlier, I don’t want to end up with a large stock of obsolete DVDs.
I asked Haiku inc if they want to participate in the funding for this (refund me for the production and then I send them back the money from selling the disks, for example). I’m waiting to hear from them about that.

I wouldn’t go over the 500. A good limited run for a Beta. Are you hand numbering them?

Especially when it’s the second time in the thread, because everyone already understood to not feed the troll. Let’s continue that way. Personally I made good use of the “ignore user” feature of the forum today
