If I understand correctly OpenGL using SDL is partially available under Haiku meaning a rewrite of the program will be needed to port it to Haiku and can’t rely only on the current source code.
If you use SDL and OpenGL, it should just compile and run out of the box. No need to rewrite anything.
There just won’t be 3D acceleration, only software rendering.
