HiQDock - fixes and improvements

Following up on this old app and thread at ( HiQDock ... New Dock coming soon ) … I’m happy to announce a new version of HiQDock that fixes a big issue - the dock options window was blank and also the “Change Icon Image” window was blank. Moreover, thanks to @3dEyes’s great work in creating the hviftools, all icons are now smoothly scaled. (Technically: this means that as soon as you add a new launcher, the icon is displayed without pixelation as it was in previous versions of the HiQDock) - …

hey68you: I’ll be testing your Dock soon; I still remember the first versions with fake transparency from many, many years ago. As I understand it, your Dock is now written in Qt. Does it finally have proper transparency? Does Qt on Haiku support this, even though the Haiku API doesn’t support transparency?

looks nice but I prefer the original one because is simple. I am FreeBSD user and I am using JWM and more or less just a keyboard. Nothing fancy.

@Begasus - the issue was that the 2 dialog windows showed no content. (1 window for ‘Dock options’ and the other for ‘change icon’).

@Hubert - still faked transparency - so best to use the ‘auto-hide’ dock setting - this will update the background just before raising so it’s basically much closer to real transparency.
