Should be something for in the wish-list:

Aside from that, I haven’t checked.

I think i put in the wrong topic!!

No problem, no one is taking it the hard way, still haven’t gotten around to check it.

About the problem to save the config on the applcation directory that hpkg can be install in system/non-packaged path and put symlinks to it on /system/apps , i think it’s the best solution even for games like uHexen2 because of the game data , in fact the hpkg on the repo has the data for the shareware version which is in /system/apps/uhexen2 and that is not great nor correct at least to have the opportunity to pùt manually the data from the original game(which i have).

Updated CudaText 1.232.2.1 for 32bit and 64bit, as always, these contain prebuild binaries/data from a build in Lazarus.

Quick notice: After I was made aware that the online service used by UploadIt is currently not working, I’ve updated the addon to use Temp.sh instead. Thanks @nipos for the tip.

Be aware though, while the old service The Null Pointer retained files depending on their size for up to a year, Temp.sh only keeps files for 3 days!

Just checked with a png and it’s working fine so far, only downside (for me), you have to download the linked file to view it?

Looks like it… Oh well. Small inconvenience, I suppose…

Great work on Baldur’s Gate 2 (Infinity engine) was done last week:

It is finally working! No more stalls on HAIKU (Some original bugs are still there).
But you can play and enjoy now!

Thank you very much Peppersawce for your work on Baldur’s Gate 2 last week.
Thanks go to Korli, Extrowerk as well for their great work!

The issue should be fixed in Haiku hrev59404 last week, March 2026

That is a small how to make it work:
Baldur’s Gate 2 (original from 2000) on HAIKU hrev59451, X64…

You need the original Baldur’s Gate 2 Game files!

1.) Copy the game files in a folder: (BGII - SoA Folder here):

Get the Baldur’s Gate 2 (Infinity engine) at the HaikuDepot, search for Gemrb… and install.

2.) Adjust the game path: in the GemRB.cfg configuration-file:

GemRB.cfg:

#This is the GemRB Configuration file. Lines starting with # are ignored

Enter Full path to the directory where the game you want to play is installed:

###############################################################################

GamePath=/boot/home/Games/Black Isle/BGII - SvA

###############################################################################

Enjoy!

digiKam 9.0.0 released, read all about it at:

digiKam is rebuilding atm on the buildmasters for missing requirement on launch for ffmpeg7, to fix this run the next in Terminal (revbump will have the fix):

pkgman install ffmpeg7 ffmpeg7_avdevice

EDIT: revbump is finished on buildmaster, launching should be fixed and no need to run the above for ffmpeg7 anymore.

Marknote updated to 1.4.1, I first pushed 1.5.0 out, but this was faulty due to Qt < 6.8 in it’s UI so had to revert that to 1.4.1.

Marknote is a small note taking application from KDE based on Kirigami framework.

The large one is Marknote build from master branch, the smaller one is the current one in the depot.

Markdown editing is still a wip but so far it’s heading in a good direction, also new in the latest is the TOC to quickly navigate through the notes.
