Announcement: New/updated in HaikuDepot (2021)

MidiSynth is a simple software MIDI keyboard using Haiku’s built-in synthesizer or any connected MIDI In or Out device. Originally by Michael Pfeiffer, I think I got the old v1.7 zip from Pete Goodeve’s site, who apparently did some adjustments that I couldn’t track down though…

Anyway, I did some build and drawing fixes, GUI improvements and created a vector icon.
It’s now hosted at GitHub, additional translations can be added at Polyglot.

Now Gerbera runs on 32bit Haiku (nightly, Beta doesn’t work), thanks to the efforts of @extrowerk!

Version 0.7-1 is out, here you can select and deselect the boot icons now.

But i have a problem with installing it on 64bit during haikudepot (32bit runs fine). If you get a error message from haikudepot too, download and install from our repository website directly.

Thanks for the update!
For me it is exactly the opposite:
64bit install works fine, 32bit install not
EDIT:
Some time afterwards, the program was no longer found under Haiku 64Bit on another partition on the same SSD.

Tecnoballz does not run (32bit and 64bit):

/boot/home/config/settings/tlk-games/tecnoballz.conf
(!)handler_levels::parse() ’ Element us not a integer!
fatal error

Checked this on R1B2 32bit, and it seems to be running fine here, maybe need to check a nightly version for this, thanks for reporting! :slight_smile:
