Xitami webserver running on x86_gcc2

Hi All,

This is an old BeOS app I used to use for web serving and ftp.

I lost the source code but have managed to make a hpkg and it works on Haiku x86_gcc2

Hi All,

I managed, with the help of Claude to…

  • Port this over to Haiku 64bit
  • Compile on Haiku 32bit with no libnetfix.so required.
  • Fixed several bugs and memory leaks.
  • Tested all seems to be working, even the FTP service.
Xitami still has a website page that mentions user support but I personally think it’s not monitored.

The URL above is still valid.

  • Future plans…
I’d like to update the code so the HTTP ans FTP uses SSL. Traditionally, this was a subscription feature, but now a days, with the help of Let’s Encrypt, this seems trivial.
