Wrong status show in preferences/printers No pending jobsNo pending jobs"

Hello,

I am translating zh_hant, and I found a problem that in some condition the printer status shows “No pending jobsNo pending jobs” or “無待處理任務無待處理任務” in Chinese

I check the code and found:

{0, plural,=0{No pending jobs}=1{1 pending job}other{# pending jobs}}

It looks like it is a wrong expresion.Is any one fix it?

why do you think the format is wrong?

Anyway, please open a ticket for issue in Haiku and don’t report thrm on the forum.

https://dev.haiku-os.org

I checked it again,when one printer is set to default,the status show double of it.I can’t register acc on it for wrong “Parole”.

Since the string is not twice in the translation this is likely a problem in code, and does not have anything to do with the translation.

Yes but it is still a bug,right?

Yes, it is a bug

I can’t register it,if any one is convenion pls help to make an issus.

When one printer is set to default,the status show double of it.

No pending jobsNo pending jobs.

I checked the translation code and found

{0, plural,=0{No pending jobs}=1{1 pending job}other{# pending jobs}}

And I think it should be something like:

{0, plural, one{# pending job} other{# pending jobs}}

The zero status may need to fix.

As I said, the plural forms are not an issue.

What issue did you get with the bugtracker?

if it asks for what OS you have to enter Haiku
