Seems every time I update with the nightly builds, my wireless connection gets trashed and I have to re-install wpa_supplicant to get it to work again. The only work-around I’ve found is to rename and replace the system folder with the nightly build, but I’m concerned that I’m not completely updating Haiku.
So two questions: why do you suppose the update breaks wpa_supplicant, and is it okay to update as I am with just the system folder?
There seems to be an issue with the wpa_supplicant package: #8603. Generally, it’s best to use Installer and have it do its thing. Until #8603 is solved, you’ll best copy the working /boot/common/bin/wpa_supplicant over to your install-USB-stick/common/bin/ before running the installer.

Matt Madia has fixed the issue wiht the wpa_supplicant package: ticket #8603 is marked as fixed. Nightly images after hrev44240 should have a working wpa_supplicant again as expected.
Thanks Matt!
