Wine test image

Because people have heard about it and will try it. Now at least there is a place where they know what to do, and ideally, what to expect. That is 1000 times better than no documentation and letting people guess, waste a lot of time, and still discover how to do it, then discover the limitations, only with a lot more frustration.

Yepp, I agree. For example, as a blog post – detailed by steps.
Not only developers wants to try out new stuff - who are able to build new software from source and resolve problems –
They can be users who are eagerly waiting a component to arise ;)) … and enough impatient to not wait still became available fully forged -

Well I’m not amongst them - especcially as my main target 32 bit machine started to fail. (I suspected heat problems, but a new cooler had not helped - it stops / freeze even in BIOS. An another power adapter also used to exclude it so not outer electricity problem. It might be a capacitive stuff in the machine itself or so, I have no fund to put in for fix it :frowning: )

There is a new Wine package on HaikuPorts called wine_bin it works like expected.
