So - I want netbook running Haiku and saw eeePC 900 on sale with very good price.
But does it run Haiku?

or “Haiku booting and and turning off in an EeePC” !

yes. as a matter of fact the EeePC 900 is a very nice little Haiku machine. I used to have one. 
I would say more :
Asus eeePC900 have been designed for haiku !

I use EeePC 900A with Haiku. It works great
I use Haiku on a 901 and it runs beautifully. When Haiku supports my Wifi chip, i may move from Windows to Haiku permanently. I believe Atheros chips in EeePC’s are supported, so if you have one of them, you’re luckier than me.
