You probably mixed this with my thread Stockfish 12 chess engine ? Here I’m searching for help with my slow-running-cpu.
And yes, Stockfish 12 is useable in the terminal. Start it and type uci to see it’s options. Type quit to exit.
But there is already a great gui for playing with uci-chess-engines: ChessX from HaikuDepot.
