Where is outgoing mail?

I installed x86_64 over my 32-bit installation. I sent an email message and it didn’t go out. I get a pop-up every minute or so that says that mail_daemon encountered an error and will terminate and clean up. I cannot find the message in the out folder. Where is the message so that I can remove it and stop these pop-ups? Thanks!

Do a desktop search for files to find a file of type text/email and with a recent date, like after “today”. Then sort by path and look for likely e-mails. Or look for all e-mails with the “Status” attribute not equal to “sent” (or sort by Status and find the unusual ones).

Or look in the e-mail preferences, each e-mail account has its own out and in folders. Though I’m not sure if the outgoing “Destination” should be /boot/home/mail/sent or /boot/home/mail/out (I’ve got mine set to …/sent/).
