Not everyone have the same sized screen. Some (more and more it seems) are using multiple screens, possibly of different sizes and ratio. Being able to customize how the different parts of an app UI are available at what location in that screen(s) landscape is great.
In Haiku, it’s supposed to be why a more multi-windows app and the stack&tile feature, for instance.
