What do we call ourselves?

Apple has Macheads. There are Linux geeks and penguinheads (shouldn’t they be called Tuxinos?) and Windows Insiders. What are Haiku users called? Haikuvians?

I always liked “Haikuza”. May have some unacceptably criminal connotations, though.

Haikers… because the journey is no less fun than actually arriving.

Not sure about in general - but if I wanted to start a Haiku usergroup, I’d call it Haikunity.

I like Haikuvians because it’s like Whovians.

I’ve used “Haikuvians” for over a decade, myself.

Haiku User….

Haiku User us correct but a bit boring. Overall i like Haikunauts best

I’d say Haikuvians for normal user, Haikunauts for devs who are navigating through the code and Haikuza for those who have particular skills for example Begasus would be a package Haikuza, Zumi an icon Haikuza etc.

Once we have a name, we need a collective noun as well (you know, like “a pack of wolves” or “a murder of crows”). If ever there’s another BeGeistert or more than three of us happen to be in one room…
Maybe “a replicant of Haikunauts” or “a BBox of Haikuvians”.

I love the group noun idea. “That’s the biggest BBox of Haikuvians I’ve ever seen! And look, they’ve just encountered a Linus of Tuxinos!”

Poets? After all Haiku is a form of poetry. Too bad there’s no shorter way to say “poetry appreciator”.
