I believe that sword is an engine to manage the modules available for books and bibles.

The other provides the UI for viewing.

It seemed that DATADIR definition was wrong while compiling libsunpinyin by haikuports. Anyway, I’ve added some description about how to make sunpinyin ready for compiling on Haiku.

Besides, icon shown on taskbar won’t change when add-on called “SetIcon()”.

Mozc is the preferred input method for Japanese. It is way better than Canna.

I remember using Anthy on Haiku ages ago. I still use it on Linux. Is Anthy still available?

I would love to see DiskDigger an Haiku, one of the best data recovery tool i ever test/used. I know the developer is a fan of Haiku, but the software is generated with .net. He tell me that he need a full port of Mono.

And in addition to that the app would need filesystem support for BFS, unless you only want to recover files from volumes with one of the supported filesystems (FAT, NTFS, exFAT).

Question to all: is recovering deleted files possible on BFS?

I think without the port he can not add this feature.

Mono or .Net would be a great addition to Haiku. There are many other applications written in C# as well. One that comes to mind is Ryujinx.

There is a Mono recipe here, but it’s really old and it’s not available in HaikuDepot: https://github.com/haikuports/haikuports/tree/master/dev-lang/mono

a good web browser and some basic games with a good media player is all I need in all honesty, on my PC I usually play games on steam, browse the web and chat on discord which although gaming at this time is a long way away from being possible I believe a good web browser that’s just as compatible as chrome or firefox is totally possible.
