I resently wanted to give a presentation on Haiku over the HDMI connection provided by the venue but was not able to get it working:( The resolutions were a bit weird (kind of 2.5k) and even the MacBook from a friend had some initial hickups but eventually worked.

I think this is related to which machine and driver. One of my machines work easily on HDMI, the other not.

ah it was not such a big issue, please don’t push it @brunobastardi - a good presenter always has a plan B, C,… 
I presented from Linux and used all the time on the presentation anyway. The crowd was interested but slightly mind blown by Haiku magic with SEN’s magic sprinkle dust.
So it was better that way in the end and I could show Haiku LIVE on my machine right after the presentation to a small group of enthusiastic people, made quite the impression
