I noticed that both your installs are running a beta4. It would be interesting to know if the other people experiencing this bug are also using beta4.
If the bug was a side effect of another that has been already fixed in nightlies, this could explain why nobody reported it yet. It should be the opposite but, I suspect that there are more users running nightlies than beta4, at least among daily users of this forum.

I’m not sure about that. I’m still using beta4 (no problems with retaining attributes on zip BTW). I only switch to nightlies if there’s something I would really miss and it doesn’t get back-ported to the beta branch. Like a big Web+ improvement that needs some app_server update etc.

Same here, mostly only on nightly to check up on something that is fixed in the nightly that isn’t yet backported to the beta, also building packages on beta is better for me to see if the builds are fine (with the buildmasters still running R1B4).
