WebAuthN now enabled on Haiku's SSO

This afternoon I performed an upgrade of our SSO system and upgraded our theme :sparkles:.

While I was at it, I added the option to authenticate via a password-less WebAuthN hardware token.

If you wish to enroll in WebAuthN (and have a suitable hardware WebAuthN dongle like a Yubikey), here are the steps:

  1. https://sso.haiku-os.org
  2. Sign in with your current credentials
  3. Account security → Signing in
  4. Set up Security key
  5. Follow the prompts

Logging In:

  1. Enter your username
  2. “Try Another Way”
  3. “Security Key” → Sign in with Security Key

Keep in mind, WebAuthN isn’t supported (yet?) in WebPositive

Will it be activated on this forum? I think WebAuthN is already supported by Discourse?

We would need to migrate the forums over to sso.haiku-os.org via oauth2. There’s a ticket open for it.

Thank you very much for this. After a long time, I was finally able to get a password email and migrated my old account.
