It would be great to see if Anyone would suffice knowledge could make a simple video game in the style of the Point’n’Click of the 90s with a good story but use exclusively these types of Haiku-style icons.
Since that would be able to develop it natively within Haiku with the IDEs, libraries and tools available within the official repositories.
I love 2.5D isometric style games, and now that we have graphic acceleration with NVIDIA, a Game Engine Framework like Love2D or RPGPaperMaker could be used.

I’m no developer but have you considered godot? The latest version for Haiku could be dated but i had some impressive insights i a godot-project lately.

We don’t ship an nvidia driver, love2d already works now, it’s just not power efficient and wastes some cpu cycles.

You are right, almost forgotten that my first contact with 2D animation and some basic level of video game design was with Godot.
