Hello everyone. As some of you might already know, I recently had problems with Haiku not using the Wacom digitizer in my HP Compaq TC4200 tablet PC from 2005. I did not resolve the issue, and I kinda accepted that Haiku probably doesn’t support it right now. I did get some hardware IDs via Windows XP and 7 if anyone that knows more about drivers and supported hardware is interested. I still don’t know how it is connected to the machine, tho.
Usually, there are three types of digitizers embedded in Tablet PCs:
- USB
- I2C
- Serial
According to some sources, your device ID might be WACF006. I haven’t found this specific ID in the wiki of the Linux Wacom Project but the closest is WACF004 - Lenovo Thinkpad X61t which should be of type Serial.
I don’t think Haiku’s driver supports a serial connection to the digitizer.
I see, and now I understand. Thank you for telling that
