“There is already a contact … in you people folder.”
The program does not save the found contact!
Kim, if the program works correctly, then it means you cannot have 2 contact with the same name, because it means the filename would be the same.
If you think, that something wrong with the Voptop, then try to contact with the developer: info@voptop.com
I hop it helps.

…then it means you cannot have 2 contact with the same name… ?
Как видно на скриншоте - список контактов пустой.
As you can see in the screenshot - Contact list is empty.
Hi,
if the contact is already added but not shown in the application, it is usually a problem with BQueries and a missing index on people files. You can easily fix this problem.
Open “Deskbar” -> “Find…”
than select “application” -> “Person”
and search for “*” (with out the "). Wait until the search is finished and reboot.
On this way Haiku starts to search for all People files and the search index should be fixed after that.
EDIT: you can execute this command in the terminal, this fix the problem to.
query '((name=="*")&&(BEOS:TYPE=="application/x-person"))'
~> query ‘((name=="*")&&(BEOS:TYPE==“application/x-person”))’

Not work. Contact list is empty.
Hey kim,
you quoted from the app’s website yourself: “If you find bugs, please fill a ticket https://www.voptop.com/mantisBT”. The bugtracker of this 3rd party app is the right place to report issues, not the Haiku forum.

Maybe compile with GCC4…
Hi kim,
I don’t know, what wrong with Voptop, but you can find the above stated ticket here:

Have you sent any bugreport for the Voptop developer?
Thank you for your continuous testing!

Hi,
this output has nothing to do with his problems (it is just saying that the BLocker is unlocked by another thread which is not the thread which locked it).
Did you configured port forwarding on your router to the Voptop port (normally 48617)? Or if your router supports UPnP, did you enabled UPnP on your router?
Currently Voptop for Haiku does not support ICE. That cause that Voptop for Haiku is not able to establish a connection to the client when it is behind a router or NAT. Therefor Voptop needs on Haiku UPnP or manual configured port forwarding.
regards,
Robert S. aka Negr0
PS: ICE support is currently in development for Voptop on the HaikuOS.

biggest issue with Haiku, is the lack of webcam support for voptop, which works in windows very nicely BTW.
