Neither did I. I only used YouTube as an example because I knew it used Widevine and had censorship problems. Much of the bandwidth of the Internet trunks is wasted due to overdue packets having to be resent when streaming. If everybody were allowed to download short videos asynchronously, the whole internet would speed up some.
Thatās not how it works. If people start jumping out in unrelated discussions (which this one originally was, the topic has been split) and attacking other users just because they dared to mention Youtube, this does not create a platform where people feel safe talking about anything.
Freedom of speech is a government thing. Your government cannot prevent you from thinking and saying whatever you want. But forum moderators can certainly tell you to go say it elsewhere, and that is not an attack on freedom of speech. If you want to rant about Youtube, start your own blog/forum/social media about it. There is no reason to do it in the Haiku forums, where everyone is already convinced that youāre right anyway. Big waste of energy for everyone
Thatās not what was written, and there is no need to try and drag him through the mud, especially since everyone can read your exchange anyway.
