well typing in termminal (listimage |grep drivers) gives a list of drivers that haiku is using,right!
i noticed that haiku uses the vesa driver and the s3 graphics driver,so that seemed to me strange,is that normal?
i noticed that on 2 different machines,one with the intel extreme driver,and this one.
if it’s not normal, then haiku has a serious low level bug.
Yes, this is expected behavior. IIRC, vesa is used to display the boot logo. A better method for checking which video driver is being used is
listimage | grep accel
