Various issues, Ryzen5 system

I am facing the following issues with Haiku so far…

MBR Boot: Needs nvme disabled and 4gb ram limit enabled.

UEFI Boot: Needs nvme disabled, only works with VESA driver as normal driver produces Out Of Range error on all video modes. and LAN does not work at all, cant establish connection.

System is as follows:

Ryzen 5 3600,
MSI B450M-A Pro MAX
16GB Ram
AMD RX 570
NVME 500GB SSD, 120GB SATA SSD and a 1TB SATA HD.

Anyone have any ideas how to get Haiku fully working on this hardware with as few boot menu options or compromises as possible ?

This is known (independent of bootloader) for now, the NVMe driver is temporarily broken (it was always broken, but silently.) I’m working on a fix as time permits.

As I replied on IRC, this is known for the MBR bootloader on Ryzen.

I think the Radeon HD driver has this problem on EFI boot, unfortunately, yes.

This would indeed be a bug. Please file a ticket about it, and attach your syslog (if you booted off USB to the desktop, it should be readable from the USB from Linux or another OS.)
