In the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that the forum seems to always think I have at least 1 unread thread after I’ve looked at everything new.
The header always says “Unread (1)” and “Topics” in the left bar is bold; if I click on that, it says there are no unread threads, the “(1)” goes away and “Topics” goes back to normal text, but the whole thing repeats again the next time there are new posts.
This happens on my laptop and phone, in several different browsers.
I’m not sure when it started.
Is this happening to anyone else?

Not me but, I’m not as eager as you are to read everything. I have about 300 unread posts.

Since I joined the moderators recently I try to at least skim everything. 
It may have been like this all along and I only noticed after that, actually.
It’s not new - at least for me.
I red the forum long … before I got an account, so I had not cared for what showed up for it. After I finally registered, as I not just read about Haiku but used it on bare metal without VM stuff first - I faced to emerging need discuss and question about Haiku and apps on it.
Finally I completed a lot post as I visited daily, so just some post was new to me. Then I started to wonder, as often a 1 unread appeared, when there were no new post at all, when I clicked on it to read it.
Honestly, only one thing – I think about actually now – I had not attempted.
As I generally remain connected between reboots, besides I have several tabs - those I check mostly - remaining, so not close them, and launch the browsers with them, as it was set ‘restoring last session’ .. so maybe I should have refreshed the tab : is the unread changes then ?
For me, it the “Unread (1)” stays through a alt-R refresh n the page so it’s definitely not just browser caching.

I’ve been having that for over a week…I just ignore the fact that there isn’t…
