I’ve recently decided to try and run Haiku, It runs fine when I run it off of a usb. But when I boot off of the external ssd it’s just a black screen then when I press any key on my keyboard it restarts my computer, it’s very strange. Is there anyway I can fix this?
Double check what you have done to install; it’s easy to forget something.
For example, if you try to boot in UEFI, check that you copied the bootloader in the right place with the right name.
Once you have check things on your side, check on Trac if there’s an open ticket about same problem. If so add a comment otherwise open a ticket but you will have to give more details.
