I filed a bug report related to this a few weeks ago but it seems to have gone unnoticed. The short story is a project I’ve been working on is supposed to be able to exchange UDP broadcast packets but can currently only send them. So I was wondering: is there any software for Haiku that somehow does successfully receive UDP broadcast packets? If so, I would like to have a look.
When filling out the bug report I found a much older ticket reporting what seems to be the same problem, but it was marked as closed already. Was that fix actually tested or have I been observing a 16 year old bug?
