Don’t understand the error message. Server down or maybe the app is too big to install when running live USB?

Yep.
But HaikuPort and under the package kit should do better job at returning a more sensible error details.

Hi there; letting you know this should be sorted in the nightly now;
- will warn you up-front quickly if the disk is obviously insufficient to install the package based on the download size.
- if you attempt to install and it can’t then it should give you better diagnostic error message.
