I thought it might be fun to have a thread where we all post a quick tip that might not be obvious to people who’ve never used BeOS or Haiku before.

I’ll go first:

  • Hold shift during boot to get to the bootloader options
  • Double-clicking on the title bar of a window minimises it
  • You can change your desktop background by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Add-ons->Background

We have an application called “Tipster” with this “tip of the day” kind of thing. If yours aren’t there yet, consider completing the database :slight_smile:
