I’ve set up a new HaikuPorts mirror for people to try out, based in NZ, with supported architectures being x86_64 and x86_gcc2. You can set up with:
pkgman add-repo https://cdn.haiku.nz/haikuports/$(getarch)/current
Within NZ can usually see 2.4MB/s package download speeds, so I’d be interested to hear what it’s like outside of NZ.
