Since you are running H1B6, you should open a ticket at HaikuPorts (if you have not done so).
I am still on H1B5 (stable)…not nightly versions. I am waiting for the H1B6 release before I start upgrading and testing everything.
BTW…never seen that issue before and I use RawTherapy on Haiku.

regression 3.0.3: jpeg_std_message_table unexported, breaking rawtherapee run-time and compilation · Issue #767 · libjpeg-turbo/libjpeg-turbo · GitHub? libjpeg_turbo removed that symbol and we have the new version without it since May. It seems we’d need to either add the patch to RawTherapee or just update it to 5.11 or later.
Did a quick check with 5.13, text doesn’t show, so that’s a nogo (for me at least) for now.

Use the previous older library. You can get from HaikuDepot.
Use R1B5 for stable OS.
Place request ticket with HaikuPorts for newer 5.12 version - if needed or further issues/needs/wants.
