1.) I did not rename the file. i will give it another go & do as you suggest.
2.) I’ll try to keep that in mind for the future. I will have this page bookmarked & relabelled appropriately to help with that.

Renaming the haiku_loader.efi file as BOOTX64.EFI was the at long last final step. we have lift off! 
My sincere thanks to all of the patient kind people who have helped me in my struggles. That is what makes a community, a great community.
Now i can install the likes of Libreoffice (i hope ‘that’ monster fits!) & other apps, so i can really give start to test this great new version of Haiku out.
