No it will be unlikely to ever run Haiku. There are many technical reasons, but the main one is that the BeBox boots using a PEF format kernel and it is unlikely that anyone will be motivated enough to make that work for such a niche machine.

No, he would get caught up in trying to run some version of Linux on it these days. He is way more likely to try that.
