My round trip time is probably high, cause I live in the other side of the world. In fact, I get relatively high download speeds from a mirror much closer to me (3-4M/s), which is consistent.
After reading the ticket I get that there isn’t anything better than a hacky recompilation of the kernel to increase the window size and the download speed.
Or is there a parameter than can be set from the command line? If there is, it might help to use as a workaround.
As it is now, I don’t think I can use it on a daily basis, unfortunately, despite the impressive progress. Hopefully one day soon!
