I used to be a physics researcher (PhD from UIUC). I am now a mostly an amateur programmer. I have working experience as a data scientist using python and sometime ago I used C+, matlab and mathematica for physics simulations. I have broad interests in programming languages (I spent quite some time with haskell, J, pari/gp, ruby, etc). I am almost quite interested in operating systems and a bit fatigued with Linux and MacOS. Recently Haiku got my attention cause it booted in mu girlfriends old machine, so I decided to see if I can contribute some code here.
