Sharing the Haiku Spirit: Talk and Training at End Summer Camp

I wanted to share with all of you the opportunity that the ESC organizers are giving us this year. I will be holding a training session on the state of the art of Haiku during this Italian hack meeting. If anyone from the forum happens to be in San Donà di Piave (Venice) on September 21st or 22nd, give me a shout.

Title: 24T04: Haiku: When the Sacred Teapot Inspires Open Source Perseverance

Abstract: Eighteen years after my first talk on Haiku at ESC, we celebrate the passion that keeps it alive. We’ll explore its evolution, the challenges overcome, and the unique culture of its community, where even a spinning teapot becomes a symbol of perseverance. We’ll uncover Haiku’s potential for developers, focusing on IDEs, languages, tools, and apps, along with unique aspects like the BFS file system. An invitation to all developers who believe in open source: Haiku needs your talent. Join us and discover how you can shape the future of this extraordinary project.

This afternoon, I gave a brief talk where I presented Haiku in its evolution. The setting was very informal and extremely curious

Sorry! I forgot to upload the photo while I was showing the teapot
