Screen offset to the middle and wraps around

I’m just trying out Haiku on my old 2014 Mac Mini using the live image. While everything boots fine, once the desktop loads it starts in the middle of the display and wraps around.

Screen preferences identify the GPU as Intel HD/Iris (SandyBridge Mobile GT2+). It’s connected to my monitor through the mini displayport port using a mini displayport to HDMI adapter.

I’ve found some topics with smaller offsets, but nothing with the whole screen offset like this.

The boot splash screen displays correctly.

The boot splash is shown using the VESA driver,so if that works fine for you,you can try forcing VESA for the desktop as well.
Open the boot menu by rebooting and press the spacebar repeatedly before the boot screen appears.
A menu should show up where you can select “use failsafe graphics driver”.
Check that option and continue booting.

Took a bit of messing around to get the bootloader menu to open - I think because I’m chaining it off rEFInd - but that worked! Thanks!

Now lets see if I get nerd sniped in to figuring out the graphics driver issue, and refreshing my C++ skills.
