SafeMode only. Syslog provided (Success if IO_APIC disabled)

Hey, I originally posted under Hardware category, but I was mistaken with the issue I was having. I thought it was a GPU issue, but I resolved that.

Current Issue: I cannot get past rocket on boot screen on either a USB Installer or my Haiku installation.

I messed around with the BIOS, everything is defaulted to ‘Legacy’ option. I disabled stuff I won’t need such as Bluetooth. Using Legacy instead of UEFI. Video setting is PEG not IGD, etc.

PC: Lenovo Thinkcentre M901s
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.20 GHz | Intel (R) HD Graphics 530
Ram: 16 GiB
Storage: SATA SSD
GPU: Radeon HD 5450 2GiB

I originally thought I had an issue with my GPU as I couldn’t get past the rocket on boot screen unless SafeMode and Fail-Safe Graphics Mode was turned on. However, I was forgetting to leave Fail-Safe mode alone as I had been doing that prior to getting the GPU. Haiku has a hard time with Intel HD Graphics 530 and 630.

So now I’m at the point were I cannot get past the Boot Screen unless I enable SafeMode. I looked at the syslog, and I can’t find anything (most of syslog is beyond me, although ChatGPT has done a fantastic job explaining what different parts mean).

Here’s the syslog:

EDIT: I navigated to /boot/home/config/settings/kernel/drivers and uncommented “disable_ioapic true” and now my system gets past the boot screen and I land on my Desktop without having to hold shift + spacebar everytime I wanna use Haiku. ELI5. Thanks.
