The rss feed for Blog-O-Sphere (https://www.haiku-os.org/blog/index.xml) stopped updating in 2014
That is … very strange, especially considering that the main feed still works.
I’ll take a look when I get the chance.
I’m a PHP developer - you can offload some work to me if you want.
The main feed still doesn’t work: http://www.feedvalidator.org/check?url=https://www.haiku-os.org/index.xml
That’s saying there are warnings in the feed. It’s valid XML, and seems to parse in most clients for now…
The blog RSS:
rss xmlns:atom=“http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom” version=“2.0”
The main RSS:
rss xmlns:atom=“https://www.w3.org/2005/Atom” version=“2.0”
http/https - just a minor detail, but that should be fixed.
Anyway, the XML files are generated and we can view their contents in a browser. So this looks to me like a client rendering issue. But it’s not valid Atom 2.0 (mentioned in the DTD) - otherwise the validator wouldn’t complain.
My RSS feed reader is old and no longer maintained, but on the other hand it still receives feeds from some 50+ other websites. Anyhow, the last Haiku feed (main RSS) from that got through was from July 18 ([GSoC 2018 TrackGit] Progress Report 7).
