It’s been a year since the previous release of Renga, time to make a new one.
New features
- Listing chat rooms from the local server
- Handle room feature flags (moderated rooms, public or anonymous, etc)
- Handle moderated rooms: disable text input when not allowed to talk, and add a “raise hand” button
- Add menu to set custom state in group chats (away, available for chat, etc) per room
- Add button to edit topic (if you have permissions to do so)
Bug fixes
- Fix various bugs, crashes, missing icons, failure to open the documentation
- Fix connecting to servers that don’t have an xmpps-client DNS entry
- Do not do starttls on connections that are already TLS
- Fix window that can’t be resized down, fix size of icon in main window
- Fix layout of settings window
