Mine is with an i3 processor, 8GB ram. When I use QElectrotech for drawing electric circuit diagrams, there is a visible lag…Is this software resource hungry on haiku? I have used this on linux also…there, I do not have this lag, unresponsiveness feeling
It seems that our version is a bit outdated.
Actual version is 0.100 (2026-01-25), unfortunately, it seems not to work with Qt6, yet.
What can become hungry are your diagrams. Each time, you add a QET element, it is copied to make it editable. If you have too many, it can eat your disk space and ram, trigger caching etc.
Another thing that could impact speed is the rendering chain, if somehow, it makes use of OpenGL.
