PXE boot progress

The latest Haiku activity report sneaked this line in right near the end without and links or further explantion:

“Anarchos made some improvements to the bootloader menu for PXE boot, displaying “Network” as the boot method, displaying the IP address of the boot volume, etc.”

Is it possible to PXE boot Haiku and use it without a local disk yet?

It has been possible since at least 2009 (when I joined Haiku) - probably before.

The network disk has to be served using remote_disk_server that you can launch from the Haiku build system (it is a “some assembly required” thing). You cannot currently boot from a standard NFS or NBD volume.
