Big Clock is looking great! It’s glitchy but it works.
(I set the background to B_TRANSPARENT_COLOR, but the element behind it doesn’t paint. Also, the BStringViews have background color on desktop but not in the shelf screensaver. Wut?)

You need to set the B_TRANSPARENT_VIEW flag instead for transparent background.

Reminds me I have like 4 months to fix BSnow to use it… unless someone makes a PR 
Beta 2 Nightly is looking good. Especially with the new slick FlatLook decor and controls, would prefer even slicker, flatter version, but this will do.

My Haiku desktop looks pretty standard,maybe boring,but I really like the standard design of Haiku.
I have one replicant which is a project I’m currently working on and the window shows Ideam,my favorite IDE on Haiku which is a native Haiku application.

First screenshot taken from my new bare metal Haiku install on my ThinkPad X220! Started on R1/Beta3 but switched to the nightly channel to get updated hda drivers for sound to work!
This ThinkPad has 8GB RAM and a 1TB SATA SSD. Haiku is super rock solid on it!
