DVDPlayer is just VLC 0.7 renamed as far as I remember - I supplied the VLC builds to magnussoft, as it had become incredibly complicated to build.

This was available on Haiku from day one and we have a much newer VLC now.

VideoEditor is something else renamed too I think - a lot of things were given more simple names; but not consistency - e.g. “Wilmacon” is not obvious at all; its an SMB share mounter.

I really liked using MediaFire (base version), but I never did get the MediaFire Pro version to unlock the full potential of the capabilities–I must have missed my opportunity for getting it back then.

I still use AudioTagger as I prep my MP3 files for my Music Library–hands down works best than all others–even today.

Pixelshop demo was good and I should have purchased the full version. I am still looking for it!

Of course, Refraction and Wonderbrush are just great software to use in Zeta OS. We have Wonderbrush in Haiku.

I would have liked to use PopWeather…but never could figure out how to set it up–no documentation anywhere I could find for it. In Haiku we have a good a replacement: Weather.

MediaConverter–I still use it in Zeta…it just works–nothing fancy about it.

I do like how ZetaPC-Info presents the system’s info but wished it had more options to delve more info or more device info, etc…

Was AudioTagger not just ArmyKnife?

My honest opinion is that it’s better. I had less issues using AudioTagger. So yes…they perform the same capabilities…AudioTagger was better at handling the cover artwork per MP3 file. It was hit-or-miss with ArmyKnife…mostly misses.

Also, I remember reading about the Zintr0 that YellowTab produced. I would like to find the multimedia/home theater app that ran on top of Zeta.

It came out about the time Windows XP Media Center version was released…I believe.

I would like to play with it in Zeta 1.5.1. I guess it never was released in US.

There’s an article about the Zintr0 in this magazine:

Yes…I read it. I downloaded the three copies of ZeMag last year.

I haven’t seen one here in US.

Would love to get the Zintr0 software that ran on top of Zeta.

Thanks!
Alfonso

YellowTab didn’t produce it.
