I am the lead developer of the Basilisk Browser. As was discussed in this thread about porting Pale Moon to Haiku, there were concerns regarding the Pale Moon and Basilisk redistribution policies regarding branding and libraries.
Unfortunately that topic was locked so I had to create a new one. I would have simply replied to that one had it not been locked.
The Haiku community is hereby given full permission to use the official Basilisk branding and to ignore any static library requirements outlined on the Basilisk site for the purpose of porting Basilisk to the Haiku.
