Works fine  checked that some time ago but didn’t include it in GIMP  (not a graphic artist here, so not sure how much extra this would bring to our main port)

But nice to have a change for those looking for it, thanks!

qqc2-breeze-style has been included in the depot, nothing is using it (yet), but could be that in the future there is a change that kirigami based applications could make use of it.

Some screeshots showing changes in the UI.

Sisong is on one level Just Another Lightweight C++ IDE. But it has a few interesting points

It is Haiku-Native

It uses a “buildscript” system that runs through a special script one line at a time, showing exeactly what is happening as you build your project. Whern you are all done, you can still build your project from the command line as usual. The buildscript acts as a development tool, not as your final step. You could develop your project the usual way with your usual tools, then use Sisong to answer the eternal question that haunts all our dreams: “Why does this $^&$#@ not compile?”

Some playing around with AI (don’t shoot - don’t have any LLM installed so can’t really check the functioning), r2ai probably will get into the depot as a plugin for Iaito, or cli usage, KAIChat won’t get into the depot (Qt requirement not on par at haikuports).

When Github or Sourceforge refuse to display your markdown file, chances are there’s a hidden control code in there. Perhaps you pressed CTRL-D.

If only there was an app that let you switch between a text editor and a hex editor on the fly …

Make YouTube videos? Now you can do tier lists without relying on specialised websites

Cloning doesn’t seem to work? Maybe .gitignore disabled too much?

Yes, had to download the code in a zip file. Compiles easily, though

Wanted to see how it works out with Qt 6.10.1

EDIT: worked out pretty good. :+1:

What is it for?

Is there some tutorial to follow?

It is a joke for a video where you take arbitraty things and give them a score of how much you like it

Search for “tier list” on YouTube for thousands of hits.

The program itself is quite simple. Just drop graphic files on it

So no need for me, it looks somewhat of… I will not use it!

It’s a specialised tool, all right. But that’s part of the charm, it’s not Yet Another QT Text Editor that seems to land on Github daily.

Played a bit with latest VLC release (3.0.23), still has to wait for the update untill 32bit buildmaster is sorted out.

Playing the 8 matrosky demo videos, showing Haiku’s strenght.

Something that was showcased back in the days too, moving a video on top of another playing video without glitches.

And still CPU usage is pretty low!

Finally got around to taking screenshots of my Tcl/Tk apps on Haiku. They could look better, but hey: free marketing!

I got confused at first because wish starts in full screen by default, but the AndroWish website mentions the command-line options needed to fix that.
